Peanut Butterscotch Drops

Peanut Butterscotch Drops

I use this recipe from Very Best Baking which is the web page for Nestle Toll House Products….you can click the link below to get the recipe. I have also posted it below with some of the things I do as well.  Great easy recipe to make with children as they are NO BAKE!   Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 2/3 cups  (11 oz package) of NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Butterscotch Flavored Morsels

1 cup creamy peanut butter

5 1/2 cups corn flakes (we use Gluten Free)

If you can’t find Gluten Free corn flakes we have used Gluten Free Corn Chex or Gluten Free Rice Krispies.

Optional Supplies: Colored sprinkles of your choice to put on top and paper cup liners with holiday designs (I use for serving.)

Directions:

Line 2 baking sheets with wax paper…..set aside.

Place butterscotch morsels in large, microwave-safe bowl.  Microwave uncovered on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute, stir.  The morsels may retain some of their original shape.  If necessary, microwave at additional 10 to 15 second intervals, stirring just until morsels are melted.  Stir in peanut butter until smooth.  Add corn flakes; stir until coated.

Drop by rounded teaspoon onto prepared baking sheets. ***At this time I like to put on sprinkles.   I use different colors for each holiday.  They make the drops look special!

Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until firm.***I always put the drops into paper cups (the kind you use for cupcakes) and I like to find the ones decorated for each holiday; then put them in containers for storage.

Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
